Bunnings FY26 Results Highlight the Growing Connection Between Stores and Digital Retail
Bunnings closed FY26 with A$20.4 billion in revenue, up 4.1%, while total store sales increased 4.0%.
Digital sales now represent 7.6% of total sales, up from 6.5% a year earlier, showing how digital commerce is becoming more closely integrated with Bunnings’ physical store network.
The retailer is also expanding its in-store media footprint. Hammer Media now operates more than 580 screens across around 250 Bunnings stores, adding another digital layer to the customer experience inside the store.
Bunnings remains a store-led retailer. But store-led no longer means store-only.
Digital commerce, AI, retail media, fulfilment and store technology are increasingly being developed around the same physical network, creating a more connected operating model across channels.

This convergence between store investment and digital capability will be a key part of the conversation at Retail Show Australia 2026 this September.
